He has worked on a number of field projects in Africa, Central America and the Caribbean and has travelled extensively throughout sub-saharan Africa. |

AustraliaCarolyn PradunCarolyn Pradun has kept birds all her life, starting with the family’s pet budgie, and moving on to breeding and showing budgies while in high school. She has shared the last 16 years with a Rainbow Lorikeet. |

BeneluxRuud VonkFor over 30 years Ruud Vonk has been a breeder of Amazon parrots in Benelux. In 1990, his passion for parrots led him to become a member and Chairman of the WPT-Benelux. He began actively promoting the WPT in Holland and Belgium. |

BelgiumRonald CoensSince his youth, Ronald has been fascinated by birds in general, and parrots in particular. Upon first discovering the existence of the World Parrot Trust, and learning he and the organisation shared similar goals, he knew he had to become a member. |

BrazilAndre Saidenberg, DVM, PhDAndre is a Brazilian veterinarian with a special interest in medicine for birds and other wild animals. He completed his Masters degree in Veterinary Epidemiology in Microbiology in captive and free-living psittacines in 2008, his PhD working with confiscated birds undergoing the release process back into the wild in 2013 and currently postdoctoral surveys of the health of free-ranging Lear's Macaws. |

CanadaMichelle KooistraMichelle Kooistra has been a bird lover for most of her life, so falling in step with the work of the World Parrot Trust was a natural fit. Michelle's journey through the bird world has included sharing her home with numerous cockatiels, budgies, and the occasional dove. |

ItalyCristiana SenniCristiana Senni was born and grew up in Rome, Italy where she graduated from Art school. She then spent 8 years in New York, after which she moved back to reside in Italy. Cristiana always loved animals, and started keeping parrots about 15 years ago. She now shares her life with four male Amazons, and a female Grey parrot. |

Central AmericaRosa Elena ZegarraRosa Elena Zegarra graduated as a Forest Engineer from the National Agrarian University in Perú, and worked in various research and evaluation projects on wildlife. She discovered her love for parrots working for the Macaw Project in the Tambopata Research Center, in Madre de Dios Peru, back in the 1990s. |
