Mike Bowles & Loretta Erickson

Wild bird photographers Mike Bowles and Loretta Erickson began photographing and documenting the wild parrots of southern California in 2001.

In 2003 they began extensive research on their local flock and in early 2004, joined forces with the California Parrot Project.
As well as photographing and documenting their frequent observations, they are also studying individual birds among the flock.

Their photographs have been featured in PsittaScene Magazine and various other local publications.
